Join Anthesis (formerly PVW) 7th Annual Run/Walk "Power of the Flower" at the Fairplex in Pomona, benefiting adults with [dis]abilities! We will have a 1K Race and a 5K Race. Registration for the event is $25 for Adults (13 and over) and $15 for Children (12 and under). The online registration deadline is June 6th at 12:00 midnight. Onsite registration will be $35 for adults and $25 for children. We will have family fun activities, an opportunity drawing with lots of prizes, and a delicious pancake breakfast for $5.00! This year’s theme is “Power of the Flower”, and we encourage everyone to wear a 60’s themed costume. You can also raise funds and awareness for adults with [dis]abilities as an individual fundraiser or a team fundraiser, and win prizes for being a top fundraiser. Our goal this year is to raise $50,000.
Run/Walk Event Competition:
Prizes will be awarded in the following categories: Top 3 Men (1K & 5K), Top 3 Women (1K & 5K), and Top 3 Teams (5K). Teams must consist of at least 3 registered individuals, and only registered individuals will receive an event t-shirt, participation medal and goodie bag. We also encourage teams to dress up in their grooviest costumes! The team who has the best team costume will win a prize and bragging rights! Good luck everyone!
*No risqué or offensive costumes and appropriate footwear must be worn while on course*
Individual/Team Fundraising Competition
We invite individuals and teams to fundraise and help us meet our goal, but first a few tips! Individual Fundraisers are asked to fundraise a minimum goal of $100! The individual who raises the most money will win a prize and bragging rights! Teams are asked to fundraise a minimum goal of $500. The team who raises the most money will win a prize and bragging rights! Please note that if you plan to run/walk at the event, you must register. Please also note that only registered individuals/teams will receive event t-shirt, participation medal and goodie bag!
